Bill Finlayson has directed and co-directed several early Neolithic (Pre-Pottery Neolithic A and B, PPNA (10,000-8,300 BCE and PPNB 10,300-8,700 BCE) projects in southern Jordan. Current work has been focussed on post-excavation including recent archaeobotanical work at Oxford with Jade Whitlam on Processing and storage of tree fruits, cereals and pulses at PPNA Sharara (DOI:10.1007/s00334-023-00938-w)
